Which version of The Bat, which version of Windows? How long has this setup worked correctly, without throwing up that error?
Which settings had you changed?

Does the error message continue to come up after a reboot of your PC, or when you run The Bat with Admin rights?

After making changes when  I click on OK in Preferences I get a dialog box saying "Invalid template virtual folder template must contain %name"

I didn't even know I had any virtual folders!
