Annoying formatting issue when pasting multi-line plain text

I only ever touch ASCII text, myself, so I'm not sure how helpful these suggestions will actually be..

So, with that disclaimer....

Are you using the new PureHTML editor or the original Rich Text editor? (Options | Preferences | Viewer/Editor)

Could you make Arial 10 the default for message body text (Opt | Pref | Viewer/Editor | Profile Layout, or using templates?)

Does Insert/Typeover status (INS key) make a difference?

Does it help if you first create two empty lines and then paste your text at the beginning of the first?
Hello,

I guess this has been discussed before but couldn't find an answer. The thing is that whenever I paste multi-line text using Shift+Ctrl+V (paste as plain text), only the first line retains my preferred formatting (e.g., Arial 10), while the rest defaults to what seems to be the The Bat's default format (Courier New 9). This forces me to reformat the entire text manually. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? I'm currently using version 10.5.4

<noindex>https://ibb.co/27K50djs</noindex>
