Is your reader/redactor for PDF is MobiPDF? I do have such behavior with it now. Bug ticket is opened in MobiSystems support.

With Acrobat Pro and MasterPDF I don't have problems in v11-4-2-1 ("open with" command)

"Run CEF Browser in a single process" in Options | Preferences | General is known to disable the preview of PDF files. Is that what you're seeing?

I use an older version, myself, but apparently the latest version has an "Open with" option for file attachments. Have you looked at that?

i upgraded to thebat v 11.4.2.1 on windows.
ever since, i cannot open a pdf attachment.
i can open word files but a pdf file just freezes and i only have a cancel button to click.
any ideas?
