Besides restarting TB, disconnecting and reconnecting to the IMAP server solves it. (Refresh doesn't.)
It looks like a bug. All bugs should be sent to the technical support - <noindex>https://www.ritlabs.com/en/support/</noindex>

Synchronizing IMAP folders in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
I added a folder to my online Outlook account, in an attempt to deal with the vastly increased spam of late. It didn't help. I deleted it. All of this was done in the online Outlook (MS 365; "live.com") site.

When I created the folder, it magically appeared in TB, but did not show up in the "manage IMAP folders" option. And, now that it is deleted from the online Outlook account, it won't go away in TB. Should I just delete it? Will this interfere with IMAP synchronization, which is fragile, balky and prone to problems even when it's running optimally?

Thanks
