This is not a Grammarly support. Ask them about to connect with RitLabs team.

I ran into the same thing with some desktop email clients. Grammarly usually works only in browsers or supported editors, so TB might not expose a compatible text field.

Thanks, the widget works in Word etc, and just today I saw the Grammarly floating widget when I'm in any of the header fields, such as subject.

I just now realized how I can switch between the various editors, that's nice! But, the widget doesn't show up when writing in any editor. Odd.

I'll do a little more research.
I am not using Grammarly (nor do I plan to), but here's what I'd do:

1. Make sure the widget works with "standard" editors, like Notepad, MS Word, etc.

2. Once you establish that it does, try all three TB's editors (plain text, RichText, PureHTML).

3. Submit a feature request to support using the link above. "Support for Grammarly" sounds like a good marketing point, since TB's spell checker is quite rudimentary.

Since TB is written in Delphi and probably uses custom text controls, I'm not optimistic that any of the editors will work without intervention from the developers.
I just paid for Grammarly, and now it doesn't work in TB.

ChatGPT:

====quote====
Grammarly's floating widget may activate if it detects a compatible text field.

If it doesn't appear, you may still need to copy/paste the text into Grammarly manually.

After corrections, paste the final version into your email.

⚠ Note: Compatibility depends on how The Bat! handles its text editor — if it's not a standard input field (e.g., uses a custom rendering engine), Grammarly may not detect it.
=============

I don't even see a floating widget.

Is anyone using it?

I don't want to copy / paste every single email into Grammarly as they suggest. It's supposed SPEED up my writing, not slow me down.

TIA!
