			the mailserver's welcome is<br />220 ESMTP SkyMiracle WorldPost KM 8.0<br /><br />check "POP before SMTP an authentication option" or not will be the same.<br /><br />btw: the outlook will always use "auth login" ,whatever i change option.<br /><br />the bat! may use &nbsp;"auth plain" first, and if receive "530 ...." , it will use "auth login". &nbsp; <br />

			Ouch. Not so good then. "Require secure" is looking for a higher level of authentication and doing "none" if secure is not an option. &nbsp;<img src="http://www.ritlabs.com/bitrix/images/main/smiles/5/icon_sad.gif" border="0" data-code=":(" data-definition="SD" alt=":(" style="width:16px;height:16px;" title="" class="bx-smile" /> Back to square one then.<br /><br />"Auth login"... hmmm. I don't know what it would take to enforce "auth-login" use instead of "auth-plain". Clearly that is the show stopper here. What kind of server is it that you are using? Is POP before SMTP an authentication option that you could use instead? It may be that we will have to escalate this issue as a support ticket. <br /><br />As for "upload file" to forum... you shouldn't need to. Just copy / paste the relevant log sections should be sufficient. <br />

			if i checked the "Requir scure(MD5)authentication" checkbok in the "Mail Transmission(SMTP)Authentication" dialogbox, there are no atuh at all.<br /><br />when receive 250 mial.cendssss.com ,the next command that the bat! send is "MAIL FROM"<br /><br />the the bat! log display :<br /> 2005-09-01, 00:36:46: SEND &nbsp;- connected to SMTP server<br /> 2005-09-01, 00:36:46: SEND &nbsp;- WARNING: there were no compatible authentication mechanisms detected<br /> <br />

			You're not giving us much information, do you?<br /><br />Consider these options:<br />Firewall<br />Faulty or changed settings<br /><br />Has TB been able to send mail or is it a new installed version? What server are you using and what kind of connection/mail box type?<br /> <br />
