With POP3 accounts this option can be found at
Account -> Properties -> Mail management -> delete message etc
But with POP3 this option is only available when you've selected to leave messages on server.

As IMAP has a different mail management system than POP3, I'm not sure whether this option is available for IMAP.

Hi,
when I delete a message, it still remains on the server. I am using IMAP. I remember having seen an option 'delete from server after removing from trash' while creating the account but I can not find it anymore!
