There are two possible solutions.

1) It's possible to tell TB to use a different account with the %Account= macro. When you want to use the account1 address, then you should set that afterwards with the %From='"myname" <myaddress>' macro. However, here used to be a bug that skipped the %From= macro when you used the %Account= macro and I don't know whether that has been fixed yet. And as an (atypical) one account user I can't test it.

2) Filter all messages from account1 to folder in account2. Any messages sent from these folders (replies or new messages) will be sent from account2. When you want to use the From address belonging to account1, you can set that at the identity tab of the folder properties for the respective folders.

How to use a different smtp server for an account in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
Hi,

I have a TB account #1 that uses mail.domain1.com as pop and smtp server.
I have another account #2 that uses mail.domain2.com as pop and smtp server.

I suspect domain1 IP exists in some antispam databases, because about 1 of 30 emails does not reach the recipient. If I send the email through domain2 smtp, there is no problem.

What I want is to use account #2 smtp server for sending mail from account #1. Normally this should be easy to set up, the problem is domain #2 smtp requires 'pop before smtp' authentication. For both servers, the username looks like user@domain.com, so I can't have the same user for both servers - and the 'pop before smtp' authentication fails.

Now my question is can I set theBat to use the other smtp in this case. For 'pop before smtp' it seems to use the pop3 settings of the current account, can you make it use other settings? Or some other trick?

Thanks.
