I did a fast survey and couldn't find it either. I'm using the link since forever though.
Thank you for addressing my questions. I have noticed some problems with Japanese in my evaluation unfortunately.

Where is the bugtracker link from the main site? I looked all over for it.

====quote====
-No PUBLIC bug resolution system.
=============
Here follows a canned text about bugtrack.

You can insert bugs in the bugtracker, by logging in to:
<noindex>https://www.ritlabs.com/bt/main_page.php</noindex>
Choose 'The Bat' and add a new item.
First check whether someone has reported the same bug, then you can
add a note to that bug.
Bugs that are reported by more users are more likely to get attention
than bugs by one. And the system isn't smart enough to understand
that bugs might be the same.
And add just one bug per entry. Makes everything easier, both for
other users who want to add a note and for the developers.

====quote====
Why can't I see what people have requested and why developers say NAY or YAY. Where is this information?

=============
The wishlist is included in the same system. But not what items are approved of by the developers. Approved items are assigned to somebody, but that doesn't mean that they'll be incorporated in the next release, everything takes its time.

====quote====
How do I know what is fixed? What is really a bug? What is possible given the current architecture?
=============

Fixed items can be found in bugtrack. What's really a bug is hard to say. What's possible in the current architecture is not easy to say, that's why you can try the program for 30 days.

====quote====
Can a user in my company use Japanese with this program PROBLEM FREE?
=============

I don't know whether TB supports double byte characters yet. Always has been a problem for some, not for me as my only correspondence is in Dutch, English and German, so I simply don't know.

====quote====
Where is the history of changlogs?
=============

In the readme.txt in your TB program folder.

====quote====
Where is all this information?
=============

Most is there if you're willing to look for it.

Your topic was: "Does The Bat! perform for me?"
My only answer is that I don't know, but it sure does for me. And it has been doing so for years.

I'm currently evaluating The Bat! And the program itself is capable and seems stable so far. However, IF I'm going to spend my company's money on this program then the support is IMPORTANT. The following are things that concern me...

-No PUBLIC bug resolution system.

How do I know what is fixed? What is really a bug? What is possible given the current architecture? Can a user in my company use Japanese with this program PROBLEM FREE? Where is the history of changlogs? Where is all this information?

-No Feature Request forum or newsgroup or ticketing system.

I'm not asking for a "I,me,mine" customized product. I just don't feel comfortable paying for software that is developed by engineers for the sake of engineering without accountable user feedback. How does RITlabs procede with feature requests? Why can't I see what people have requested and why developers say NAY or YAY. Where is this information?

Basically, while it is TRUE that I have no way of evaluating the responsiveness of the support without using it - I do KNOW that public accountability would give me a much better feeling about the consistency of problem resolution and customer request feedback.

Does The Bat! offer this? Am I blind or just slow to find these simple desires on this website?
