Uninstall TB.
Then install it back.
You don't have to reconfigure everything.
After installing you tell TB that you want to create new accounts.
When asked, enter your old mail directory as mail directory.
When asked for an account, give the same name as your first account. TB will use the existing config.
Afterwards create the other 14 accounts via the same procedure.
TB will use the old settings, folders and message base.

The Bat hangs during startup in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
Hi,

after a system crash (Blue Screen) I have severe problems with my installation of The Bat 3.60:

After launching, the splash screen appears (including the "BaysIT startin up" msg), then the prg. hangs. Taskmanager reports "Not responding".

Tried the following:

Launch LSTREPAIR

Delete all *.TBI files

Reinstalled 3.60 (also try 3.51)

Restored programm and mail directory from backup

Nothing helped! Only installation of 2.12 worked and I was able to launch The Bat (No errors, all msg. are available).
After that, I tried to re-install 3.60 with the same result as before - hang during startup.

Does anyone has an idea how to get back to V.3.60 without completely remove/install The Bat? I have 15 Mailaccounts and I want to avoid to reconfigure everything

best regards

Peter
