I have the same issue.... I'm almost certain that the only people having this issue are those who connect to an Exchange server (MAPI not IMAP). Still have not found a solution but desparately need one.
Ok, Well it doesn't seem to be working properly. Do I need to report it somewhere special? I've tried it 5 different times now everytime it arrives with the From Address replaced by my address.

Also I'm not sure why but whenever I try to close TheBat it says that it cannot close because their are active activities. And asks if I want to shutdown when they are done. My Choices are Yes, No , Abort. If I pick Yes eventually it will come back up and ask again and again it never closes. If I pick no nothing happens and if I pick Abort nothing happens. Everytime I've tried to close I've checked the connection Center and it shows no active transactions. Basically there is no way for me to close The BAT the only way is to kill it under Task Manager.

Another oddity. I get a mailing list and the From address is listed as users-bounces@netcoolusers.org which is partially correct if you look in the header this is the Sender however the From actually shows the real user and his email address. Since The BAT only shows users-bounces@netcoolusers.org I've no way to tell who sent the email as The bat ignores the real Sender. Any ideas how to fix this?

Microsoft Mail Internet Headers Version 2.0
Received: from mx1.domainmail.org ([66.223.110.199]) by ATLFP2.reachapps.com with Microsoft SMTPSVC(6.0.3790.1830);
Mon, 3 Oct 2005 09:54:35 -0400
Received: from bugs.domainmail.org (localhost [127.0.0.1])
by mx1.domainmail.org with ESMTP id j93Dr8M3025747
for <JPolansky@reachview.com>; Mon, 3 Oct 2005 09:53:17 -0400
Received: from plmler3.mail.eds.com (plmler3.mail.eds.com
[199.228.142.73]) by mx1.domainmail.org with ESMTP id j93Dr3J4025715
for <users@netcoolusers.org>; Mon, 3 Oct 2005 09:53:04 -0400
Received: from plmlir4.mail.eds.com (plmlir4-2.mail.eds.com
[199.228.142.134]) by plmler3.mail.eds.com (8.13.4/8.12.10) with ESMTP
id j93Dr3Vl003939 for <users@netcoolusers.org>; Mon, 3 Oct 2005
08:53:03 -0500
Received: from plmlir4.mail.eds.com (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by
plmlir4.mail.eds.com (8.13.4/8.12.10) with ESMTP id j93DquWe014281 for
<users@netcoolusers.org>; Mon, 3 Oct 2005 08:52:56 -0500
Received: from usplm013.amer.corp.eds.com (USPLM003.txpln.us.eds.com
[198.132.135.8]) by plmlir4.mail.eds.com (8.13.4/8.12.10) with ESMTP
id j93Dqu9V014276 for <users@netcoolusers.org>; Mon, 3 Oct 2005
08:52:56 -0500
Received: from usplm234.amer.corp.eds.com ([198.132.135.43]) by
usplm013.amer.corp.eds.com with Microsoft SMTPSVC(6.0.3790.211); Mon,
3 Oct 2005 08:52:51 -0500
Content-class: urn:content-classes:message
MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"
Subject: RE: [INUG-Users] Send SMS on insert only on OMNI Version 3.5
Date: Mon, 3 Oct 2005 08:52:54 -0500
Message-ID: <6ED0E611018A7242BC600A0C9D3FAE9F04008E60@usplm234.amer.corp.eds.com>
Thread-Topic: [INUG-Users] Send SMS on insert only on OMNI Version 3.5
Thread-Index: AcXIDm/vHVp13NKKQPOz1H/0mG2yKgAEtK9Q
From: "Hubbard, Greg L" <greg.hubbard@eds.com>
To: <users@netcoolusers.org>
X-OriginalArrivalTime: 03 Oct 2005 13:52:51.0434 (UTC)
FILETIME=[BF0774A0:01C5C821]
X-Virus-Scanned: ClamAV version 0.87, clamav-milter version 0.87 on bugs
X-Virus-Status: Clean
X-Spam-Status: No, score=0.0 required=5.0 tests=none autolearn=failed
version=3.0.4
X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 3.0.4 (2005-06-05) on bugs.domainmail.org
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
X-MIME-Autoconverted: from quoted-printable to 8bit by
mx1.domainmail.org id j93Dr3J4025715
X-BeenThere: users@netcoolusers.org
X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5
Precedence: list
Reply-To: users@netcoolusers.org
List-Id: Netcool/CIC Discussions <users.netcoolusers.org>
List-Unsubscribe: <<noindex>https://lists.netcoolusers.org/mailman/listinfo/users</noindex>>,
<mailto:users-request@netcoolusers.org?subject=unsubscribe>
List-Archive: <<noindex>http://lists.netcoolusers.org/archives/users</noindex>>
List-Post: <mailto:users@netcoolusers.org>
List-Help: <mailto:users-request@netcoolusers.org?subject=help>
List-Subscribe: <<noindex>https://lists.netcoolusers.org/mailman/listinfo/users</noindex>>,
<mailto:users-request@netcoolusers.org?subject=subscribe>
Sender: users-bounces@netcoolusers.org
Errors-To: users-bounces@netcoolusers.org
Return-Path: users-bounces+jpolansky=reachview.com@netcoolusers.org
Hey Guys,

I'm brand new to The Bat. To be honest I don't think I've looked at TB as a program since the dark ages. I have been using outlook2k3 and am sick of it's sluggish memory hog mentality and to be honest I really don't see why it takes up that much.

Anyway I literally just started using 3.6 and so far I am very impressed. Infact when I saw it had Exchange support which my job had I didn't believe it.. I've never seen another email client offer this other than Micro$oft outlook.

At my job we receive a lot of support questions and I often want to send the email on to coworkers for review. In outlook the best they have is the forward feature but this is nearly useless as it not only messes up the message by quoting it it erases the From Data so they other people can't reply to it easily.

I know Pocomail had a feature called bounce and here in TB I see a button for Redirect which to me should do what I'm looking for resend the message to a new person as with the original FROM, however when I try it the received message comes with my email address in the From:

Am I misreading this feature? Why is it different from Forward? If the redirect feature isn't supposed to do what I want does anyone know a way to do this in TB?

Anyway gonna keep playing with it some more I will await a response.

Thanks
