It sounds like the server admin has turned on authentication for any attempt to use the SMTP server for outbound external mail.

You may need to talk to the server admin and find out what authentication method is required. The Bat! supports many!

i've been using the bat for months now with no issues at but today when i went to send a few emails they wouldn't go and i got the error:

Message has not been sent. Server reply-Authentication turned on in your email client.

The odd part is that I can send emails to other addresses on my own mail server.  i.e. my email is jimmy@mywebsite.com.  i can send an email to bobby@mywebsite.com and it goes through but when i send an email to sally@hotmail.com i get the error.

any thoughts?
