			That's because TB doesn't really delete the messages you tell it to delete (or move), they're merely marked as deleted. All databases and mail clients work this way. That is because editing big (and a message base is a big file) files takes lots of time. TB really deletes the messages when it compresses the message base. You can do this automatically:<br />Account -&gt; Properties -&gt; Options -&gt; Compress all folders on exit<br />This makes closing TB somewhat slower, but saves space and makes TB less prone to errors. <br />

			Hi,<br /><br />I have just noted that I have enormous files in programfiles/thebat<br />The Trash is 400 000 ko &nbsp;and another that i created, spam folder is 740 000 ko &nbsp;<br />However, i have cleaned theses repertories so there is ni more mail and yet, the size of the files in dir of the bat doesn't change... &nbsp;Is it normal ? &nbsp;Can i delete those big files, will there be reconstructed ?<br /><br />Thanks a lot,<br /><br />Telepro <br /><br />PS : &nbsp;The bat 2.12 <br />
