My husband and I are on different computers.

We both use Windows XP.

I installed The Bat! as an upgrade to v2.

Message base: C:\Program Files\The Bat!\Mail\Account Name

I can't send mail from any account, including a new one I just added.

Again, nothing has changed on my side, except for upgrading The Bat! twice, with new problems occuring after each upgrade.

Thanks for any help or hints you can offer.
Let's start with some questions.
Are you and your husband both using the same system or do you use separate computers?
What OS are you using and what version of TB?
Did you install TB v3 fresh or di you do an upgrade of v2?
Where's your message base located?

Outgoing Mail problem...Help! in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
I've recently started getting this message whenever I try to send any email via The Bat!:

Edit Mail Message -> <person@emailaddress.com>

Message from , subject "", is not properly addressed.

I only started receiving this message since I upgraded to the latest version. The upgrade also changed to font on some of my messages, but not all. It's a script font that I can't easily read. My only recourse is to send my email via web mail at this point.

After the previous upgrade, I started getting a message that I couldn't send mail because I didn't have admin permission. I don't remember the exact message, but it was a sporadic problem.

I have not changed any of my settings since sometime during early version 2, so I know it's nothing I've done.

My husband also uses The Bat!, and started having the 'admin' problem after an upgrade. So far, he hasn't mentioned having the 'not properly addressed' message.

Please help with these issues. I'm getting very frustrated, and ready to dump this program. I've been a satisfied Bat! user up until a few months ago, when I started having problems.

Help!
