			Not very likely. The way MicroEd is written has the free caret at its very foundation (that's what I've heard as explanation), so apart from a fundamental re-write of MicroEd it's not possible to make it optional.<br /><br />Apart from that MicroEd is something you either hate or love and there's a considerable percentage of TB's existing customer base that just loves it, so my best guess is that Ritlabs will leave it alone. That was the reason for adding a second plain text editor. <br />
