Roelof,

the point I was making is that you are the lone expert here. User to user only works if you can spread the workload on a few experienced shoulders.
TB is a very sophisticated piece of software and it's not surprising that new users find it difficult to configure everything correctly. Unfortunately, too many queries remain unanswered here.
Compare that to other forums like Opera, Nod32, Regdefend, Firefox etc. Usually these would have more expert users to assist novices but in addition developers are present on the boards.
I get most of the programs I use to work - some better than others. As for TB unfortunately I feel that I am using at best half the functions simply because there is not enough info.
Having said that, I do appreciate your help a lot.
This forum was originally intended as a user to user support platform. Just like the various (independant from Ritlabs) mailing lists in various languages. There's a lot of experience on those mailing lists, for a listing of those lists see:
<noindex>http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/lists.html</noindex>
I'm also concerned about support.
None of the questions I have asked on this forum have been answered.
Have sent a couple of bug-reports without getting any feedback.
Tried the "Ask a question", no answer....
Just wondering if someone from Ritlab preferably a developer or someone with deep knowledge of the product is keeping an eye on this forum.
I noticed frequently that queries remain unanswered. Roelof is very helpful but as I understand he is just one experienced user. Unfortunately the ratio of experts to novices on this forum is rather unbalanced. Most other forums benefit from a greater number of experts helping the novices but also from the developers make regular experiences to sort out pending questions if nobody was able to do so before.
While registered users have the option of email support, I personally prefer a forum. In case of other software it is often faster and the knowledge passed on benefits every user. I would assume that it would be more time efficient for Ritlab too.

As an example n.a.n.a raised an important question regarding the WMF exploit 4 days ago hoping for some confirmation or comment by Ritlab - nothing so far
