Importing from Unix style .mbx

Importing from Unix style .mbx in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
I have been monitoring the .tmp file generation. Can you say there has been over 1200 thus far?!? I delete them once approx 100 are generated.

What I can not understand is the slowness. I have Aid4mail and it can convert in less than 15 minutes all the files properly. Verified that there are 81920 emails thus far to be converted. Doing one folder at a time, deleting the .tmp's etc is making second guess the process. May have to archive via Mailbag Assistant and not go thru the bother of importing.

Mailbag Assistant can import into itself approx the same speed as Aid4Mail.

It may be a good idea for the 'team' to work on the import function if it wishes to convert more endusers over to this application. There is no reason whatsoever for the .tmp's to be left over, this is sloppy programming. It is understood that the import may only happen once, but it points to lack of QC in the area, which of course means if the QC is found lacking in one area are other functions any better?
There's no other way. What you could do is to check for bat?????.tmp files in your temp directory. The import tool has a tendency to forget to remove them and an abundance of .tmp files will cause TB to slow down dramatically.

I am trying to import from approx 100 unix .mbx files into The Bat. The process is very slow via the import tool. Is there another way to do massive imports? Currently have approx 55,000 emails with many more to go.

One mailbox with just over 15000 mails took over 4 hours on a WinXP 2.4GHZ 1GB Ram machine.
