Group by domain in message list pane how to? in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
Actually, I've done what Paolo is asking about.

Create a filter using the @example.com as the field for Sender. I've not had trouble with it. (Oh, just checked before sending this-- my filter does not include the .org in the string, only the name before it. I don't know if that is an issue in your case.)

UPDATE: I feel a little foolish-- you were asking if the msgs could be grouped in the display, according to sending domain. This would also interst me but seems not to be possible, except if you do a search using the domain in question.

My initial reply refers to folders, but I'll let it stand in case it helps someone else. Also, I'd forgotten that I have other filters on another acct which do, in fact, contain varying amounts of sender info in the string. (Putting it into "header contains" could cause some trouble...)
I don't think that's possible.
I have a folder called "Mailing list" where I put all the filtered messages coming from different newsletters and from different mail accounts.
I currently have the message list showing messages grouped by sender but it'd be better if I could group them by sender's domain.
Infact prefer messages grouped by a sort of "@example.com" rather than by multiple lines like "sender1@example.com", "sender2@example.com" and so on.
Can I do this?
thanks
