Wow! Thank you, Roelof! I think I got the gist of what you explained above. I'll try to go through it carefully and see if I can set up a system like that! If I have any questions, I'll post them here again. Thank you so much for answering!

Automatic Follow-up Messages in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
Well, that's rather easy since you want to send indentical messages messages.
Create 10 directories (with the names 1 to 10)
Create a daily recurring schedule that imports all files from directory 1 into your outbox, deletes the files from directory 1 and subsequently moves everything from dir 2 to 1, dir 3 to 2, etc. You can achieve this with a batch file that's called as an action from TB's scheduler, but it's also possible to do that with any external scheduler you prefer.
This takes care of the timing.

Now you create a Quick Template (QT) that explains what your product does. Next time you get an answer about your product you answer the message with your QT (reply, type the name of your QT in the message body and press Ctrl-space)
As your first message is generated by your QT you know its exact text, so it's easy to create an outgoing filter that triggers on that message. You set two actions for this filter, one that exports a message to directory 3 and one that exports a message to directory 10. (Unless you meant the week as seven days after the first meessage in stead of my interpretation of seven days after the second message.)
The exporting stuff can be done with a template.

Basically this is what I'd do if I'd feel the need to accomplish something like this with TB.

Automatic Follow-up Messages

Automatic Follow-up Messages in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
Thank you so much for your answer, Roelof! After I read your reply, I've been checking out the possibilities of the Scheduler.

Basically, this is what I wanted to do:

Let's say someone writes me asking about my product.

Today, I'll write an answer to this person.

Here in three days, I'll send another follow-up message, talking about more benefits of my product.

And then, in a week, another one.

But, this is a recurring situation. Many people write asking about my product. So I wondered if there was some way to set up a template that as soon as a request came in, I could set them up to automatically get my answer and then, later on, my follow-up messages - automatically.

Looking forward to your answer.

Thanks again!

Automatic Follow-up Messages

Automatic Follow-up Messages in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
The most frequent reason for not getting an answer is that nobody knows a proper answer. Something like 'I don't know' isn't very useful in a forum like this.
I'm not sure what you want to achieve. When it's just three or four scheduled messages you want to send, that's possible with TB's scheduler. (Tools -> Scheduler)
Both what you're asking about is something that looks like a delayed filtering action and that isn't possible. I can think of some workarounds, but in that case you'd need to be more verbose on what you want to achieve. (And you'd still need to use the scheduler.)
Hello!

I posted this in the forum below, but no one answered. Maybe this is the best section to post this in.

I was just wondering. Can the Bat send automatic follow-up messages; like send a message today, then follow up with another automatic message next week, and so on.

I know I am hoping for a lot here, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Thank you!
