Go to account, properties, templates, new message and see if the box is checked next to receipt request and/or reading confirmation. I have both unchecked and don't get receipts.

Whenever I send a message to some I get the following:


This is a receipt for the mail you sent to
johndoe@isp.net> at 4/16/2006 7:16 PM

This receipt verifies that the message has been displayed on the recipient's
computer at 4/16/2006 10:42 PM


How can I turn this off?  I don't want a receipt.
