The only thing I can think of (I don't use it myself) is that you've got to configure the plug-in what folders you want it to index.
Did you try that at
Otions -> Preferences -> Plug-ins -> (Select plug-in) -> Configure
This plugin already exists. It works quite well even if for me, I don't know why, not all the directories are indexed.

Quite slow to download but it works.

Let me know what do you think about it
<noindex>http://www.vgirlos2.narod.ru/thebat.html</noindex>
<noindex>http://www.vgirlos2.narod.ru/GoogleDesktopTheBatInstaller.exe</noindex>
Hello everyone,

Since Goodle provides a nice Google Desktop Search API for creating third-party search cartridges for additional types of data/files, an obvious question question rises.

Is there a possibility to make The Bat! mail archives (message bodies + attachments) available for external indexing? That could be some sort of real-time feeder/dumper, closely resembling similar tool for Miranda IM (<noindex>http://addons.miranda-im.org/details.php?action=viewfile&id=1965</noindex>).

Natively, GDS supports indexing of MS Outlook *.pst files, and some additional mail client bridges available as well (<noindex>http://desktop.google.com/plugins</noindex>)

It think this is a viable idea.

Any thoughts?

regards,
Vladimir
