Copernic Desktop Search

Copernic Desktop Search in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
i actually just found how to get this to work.

in Copernic, option / advanced / add the .ABD extension pointing it out as a Text document.

make sure the program file/ the bat! directory is indexed (option / files).

once the indexation has been done, searching for a name or info on someone in your address book will point to the correspondant AddressBook.ABD file. which you can preview right in copernic.

there will be a bit of noise around the begining and the end of the contacts information (яяя‘Gtrж>†Ђ †K№хяяя+цяяя-----чяяя0шяяя type of signs), but the information looked for will be there alright.

wicked !

i really digg this copernic tool.

R a d
hey, thanks,

i had tried to tbb files, you're right, Copernic then finds the .tbb file but doesn't look through its content, as expected...

damn good tool though, that copernic thing! using it every time i got to search through my files now.

thanks anyway

R a d
I doubt this can be done in an useful way.

I don't use Copernic desktop search, but you should probably add .tbb files to the list of the files being searched - even then, you can find if what you look for exists in some TB folder (as a single .tbb file keeps all the messages in each TB folder).
There is no way (I think) to open the message that contains what you look for, so better use TB search.
