Settings Disapeared Cannot access my TheBat message store in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
Hello,

One day I start TheBat and it opens the wizard like its my first installation. (Asking me to choose encryption mode, Choose where theBat folder will be created, asks to create accounts, ect). Like it lost the configuration.

So, I have made a copy of my TheBat store folder, which has 5-subfolders (one for each email-account).

Now I have followed a post here on the forum, instructing to create the same folder and account names which already exist on the hard-drive and theBat should eventually after completing the wizard, load everything back online with the old-folders and messages.

Instead -- upon completing the wizard and creating the first-account, theBat crashed with 'Out Of Memory' alert, and windows reported a Shell32.dll crash, and later an Ole32.dll crash.

I am thinking now creating a system-restore point, and restoring a week's old registry/system which probably still have the TheBat settings in place, not sure if thats the right move.

Needless to say I am paralized, any bit of help would be appreciated.

Thank you
