Because TB uses the regitry it's possible to locate (parts of) your message base on different locations, while due its intended use voyager needs it to be in a subdirectory of its programdirectory.
Voyager doesn't have the same plug-in upport as TB.
And I can go on in a similar way.
(multiple users on windows etc)
Hi,

I have been using Voyager for some time now and due to ongoing 'sync' problems between TheBat and Voyager, I have just stuck to using Voyager.

However, as I have Voyager on both my desktop and USB flash drive I can no longer see a reason why TheBat should be developed.

If all the features are in Voyager (and it seems they are, if not surely they can be added) then why not just install Voyager on the desktop as I have?

Why develop two programs, when the only real difference is Voyager is portable as it doesnt hold settings etc in the registry and such like, but that would not affect a desktop install anyway so it seems strange and unnecessary work to keep two developements going.

Please put me straight if there are more reasons why this should not or could not be so....
