Thanks, that works pretty well. It's a little clunkier than the Opera version, since I only get the messages available in that folder or virtual folder. The Opera method also includes all To or From for that contact, which is nice.

I suppose I could make a [Contacts] virtual folder that contains all messages, sorted by To, and then use that. I'd then resort to find a message From that person and re-Alt/select. It's harder to find messages sent To someone if they're in a list, or in a multiple To situation, though.
Keep the Alt key pressed and click on the from name in the message list.
Press <Ctl><=> or in the menu:
View -> Display -> All
To make all messages visible again
I'm in the process of moving from Opera to The Bat!. I've been able to replicate most of the Opera filters with TB's virtual folders, which is key for me. For example, Opera has an Unread filter where, well, all unread messages are displayed. I was able to replicate this with a TB filter on my two mail accounts that include both inboxes, and then I can flip over to the Unread tab. Very nice.

What I haven't been able to find is a way to quickly display all emails to or from a particular contact. In Opera I can select the contact's name in the Contacts tab, and in the right hand pane all messages to or from that user are displayed. Can I massage TB to do something like this?

--
Andrew
