Thousands of Addresses.

Thousands of Addresses. Can The Bat! handle that ? in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
For myself that wouldn't be something that I'd use TB for, I'd prefer a dedicated mailing list tool or a server with mailing list functionality. The advantage of those are that subscription and unsubscription features are built-in while you'd need to write your filters for TB yourself.
The only reason you might consider sending them with TB would be to personalize them with the mass mailing feature, but considering the amounts you want you want to send that would place a conderable strain on your bandwidth. So I wouldn't use that myself.
My plan is to start seriously promoting my business with well targeted email-campaigns, collecting hopefully thousands and thousands of addresses via opt-in pages [no spam!]. Can The Bat handle those kind of numbers and has anybody tested that ?

[I do realize that for sending bulk messages I’ll need some proxy server.]

Thanks again, ciao,

PictureThat!
