TB hangs up on me also and has to be killed via the task manager. I am on a 15mb connection

====quote====
What is the abort button's function? It should close and abort the pending connection. I think that The Bat has a bug so that, in some situation, the abort function doesn't works.

=============

It's a long standing problem, as soon as the connection center gets stuck, you can't abort it any more.
Fixing a connection problem is beyond my possibilities.

I have this problem in different PC (mobile and desktop), with different connections (ADSL at home, UMTS or ethernet at office) and different firewall setup.

Must be a mal server problem that obviously I can't fix.

What is the abort button's function? It should close and abort the pending connection. I think that The Bat has a bug so that, in some situation, the abort function doesn't works.

This happens when the connection between TB and the server gets stuck, so when you say it happens very often your connection to your server isn't up to par or your firewall/spam filter/virus scanner is causing trouble.
Unfortunately it isn't possible to fix this with TB from your side, so you should try to fix the problems with your connectivity.
Hi all

Sometime I cannot close The Bat Professional. When I try to close it pop up a window saying: "Some task are now active. Do you want to exit when they are finished?"

None of the three choices (yes, No and Abort) cause the software to terminate. I have to go to the task manager.

This will happens when I delete some stuck task in the Connection center. That will happen very often. When all the messages are downloaded from an account, often the task doesn't terminate and I have to do manually.

There is a way to ix the problem?
