I just tried using "THE BAT" along with "Ypops" and I cannot get any emails to download

Here is what I have : Ypops Version: 0.9.7.3
Tried Port 110 and 995
Set the POP server to 127.0.0.1
It just keeps trying and times out

Is there any way to download messages from Yahoo
Or is there a new Version of THE BAT that will support this functionality directly without us depending on YPOPS

Thanks
Ypops works and works well
Make sure under NETWORK it binds on 127.0.0.1 and the POP3 port is 110 and SMTP is 25 (You may have to change the IP if you have a router or are behind a firewall
Next in THe Bat under the Yahoo account TRANSPORT, make sure the mail serve is set to the same IP as in Ypops - probably 127.0.0.1

Also if you are Using a software firewall such as Zone alarm, make sure you have given Ypops all the permissions
Hello,I've got a problem with cofigurating the bat to work with yahoo mail. When I press "check for new mail" I get a message "ERR -error logging in". Don't know what's that..I can say that the configuration of the account itself should be ok, as I've used the bat for over a year now with 3 other mail accounts and configured the yahoo according to their help site. I've read that it is impossible to use external mail client with yahoo mail unless I use paid yahoo!premium account , is that true? coz if it is, it's pointless to keep on trying. On the other hand, there are programs that are said to allow mail clients to work with yahoo, like freepops (wchich I tried, but it didn't work) and recently YahooPOPs (another name Ypops). Has anyone succeeded with that one? if any information that I have not given would be necessary or helpful to solve the problem, I'll try to give them. Thx
