as I remember, 40 last addresses are stored, so if You used other addresses and address is not stored in AddressBook, You must add it and it will ba autocompleted again.
I tend to experience a bit frustrating mystery. An address which I have already used a number of times before and which was normally auto-completed, suddenly does not auto-complete, as if never used before ... Another time it again works ...
TB can use the history.
Options -> Preferences -> Message Headers -> Select the header whose behaviour you want to change -> Edit -> 'Editing' tab
Note that you've got to wait a second before TB starts to suggest things, as long as you keep typing, TB stays silent
to automatically add addresses to address book, create a filter for incoming mail. For condition select 'any message' and for action -'capture addresses'

I don't know of some specific setting to enable auto-complete of addresses, it works for me with the default settings and completes emails that are not in the book
Unlike Opera, Bat does not seem to remember the previously used email addresses of the sent emails and is often unwilling to automatically finish the typing of the address, unless it was added to the address book before. Is there any way to specifically enable this function ?
Is there also a function to automatically add the email addresses from the incoming emails to the address book ?
