Addresbook.ini file

Addresbook.ini file Defauts to default not mine in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
Update & Solved

I found an addressbook default key in the registry which shows my Documents and Settings folder. I changed it to thebst directory and volila it seems to now find the right (my) addressbook.ini file!

Before that I noted:
If I delete the addressbook that thebat makes and replace it with my addressbook.ini file in the Documents and Settings folder, when I restart thebat, it rewrites the .ini file using thebat's default wiping out mine.

After not having this problem for about 10 years the only thing I did before this started happening was I exported an address book to some folder and using gotomypc trasnferred it to my laptop at home. Was only the addressbook .abd? file not the group .ini file.

But looks the registry entry change did it with the new location in the registry per prior note if this can help anyone else.

Addresbook.ini file Defauts to default not mine in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
I have addressbookdave.ini that has always worked and came up automatically as default. It is in the thebat directory

All of a suddden the thebat created default address group keeps loading which seems to be from the Documents and Settings folder.

I can Load the correct address book group and all is well... but... as soon as I exit theBat and re launch it the address book is back to the Bat default not mine.

In another topic from 2005 says:
You could also check the contents of the registry keys
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-583907252-926492609-682003330-1003\Software\RIT\The Bat!\Last address book path
and
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-583907252-926492609-682003330-1003\Software\RIT\The Bat!\Last address book pathRelative

In the lastest theBat version its in
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-1425150196-3951001310-3303174879-1007

And it shows the Last address book path correctly in the thebat folder and relative looks correct also.

The address books themselves are properly found loading finding the right addressbook.ini file. But it does not remember the location of the correct .ini file.

I've used theBat for like 10 years and it has always remembered the last used group and never seen the default set up by theBat before.

If I delete the wrong addressbook.ini, after closing theBat it just recreates the default again upon start up it seems and loads the wrong one.

Any clues how to make theBat load the right addressbook.ini instead of manually having to load it now?

Thanks
