What you're asking for is TB's default behaviour over here. Are you using a dual monitor system?
TB has a somewhat buggy behaviour as soon as you're using multiple monitors, but even then it remembers the window sizes and locations properly as long as you don't maximize them and keep them on the same monitor.
I have a quick question regarding The Bat 3.85.03 Pro.

Is there any way to make the original text window stay (by default) slightly larger or better still remember it's position (for ever) when replying to emails? as sometimes the size is a bit small and on a bigger resolution screen you can afford a bit more space for it

I use original text all the time and find it extremely useful so this would be a tremendous improvement.

Regards
Steve Harris
