see Yahoo mail settings - Spam section / Block images
by default Yahoo blocks all images, and displays them only if the user changes the default settings. So it's not a problem of theBat.
BTW this is the default setting for many web mail services, and the recommended way for handling 'embedded' content of any sort.

Hmm... I used to send embedded images with Eudora which looked fine in Yahoo. Nevermind. I thought there was perhaps a setting I'd missed, or something.

Cheers.

I can't see the setting for this.
I sent a html-only message to a yahoo account.
The image was 'embedded' into the email when I sent it.
When received, there was a blank space where the image
should have been. I could see the image at the bottom
of the screen in the 'attachment' area. Why couldn't I
see it embedded?

Thanks.
