Actually I'm no Ritlabs guy, nor am I in any way associated with Ritlabs than that I'm a satisfied user of The Bat!
So your remark is a bit of target, especially as this forum is intended for user to user support purposes, just like the TBUDL mailing list where you posted your question too.

AFAIK I've never had TB inserting addresses, but then I haven't got any empty address book entries, nor can I see any use for them.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Now that explains it as the guy who reported it to me (whose address was not listed in the sent message) happens to be the hosting service provider of our domain.

It's a huge relief to know not every single soul in my address book has been sent a personal email.

Everything between < and > is supposed to be an address, so as the addressee means that the message is sent to the postmaster at the same domain as yours, so it should be sent to the postmaster of your ISP.

I accidentally sent out a message to a supposedly empty address, but it seems that it has actually been sent to some people in my address book.

After having a look at this message in thebat again, I see it's listed as - what exactly does mean in this case? does that mean the meassage was sent to ALL of my contacts in the address book?

HELP!
