Tha is most probably your settings under the account and "transpot" It possibly either wants authentication and you have it unchecked ore vice versa

Check the settings in the program that works against the ones in The Bat

I restored The Bat! from a backup and now I can't get mail. When The Bat! tries to get mail it almost immediately fails with a message like "Connection to Host Broken last command 'USER <user>". The email servers are up, I have a good Internet connection, and I can get my email with a different email program. Any ideas as to what may be happening? Thanks.
