No, using a single monitor, "normal" XP set up.

I prefer to use MicroEd plain text editor, but I've tried this with every permutation of editor and get the same results; no joy

I'm using SP2 too, but TB diplayed the same behaviour in all of its version under all Windows varieties I've used.

Anything special to your system? Multiple monitors or something like that?

Thanks for the pointer Roelof, unfortunately this doesn't work for me.

(I'm using XP SP2 but I wouldn't have thought that would be any sort of issue).

Drag the window to the place you want it.
Close it.
Next time you start the editor, the window is where you placed it.
Works here everytime |I try it, it's more or less default Windows behaviour.

Hi,

I'm currently evaluating The Bat and have a question: is there a way to ensure that the editor window opens in the centre of my screen instead of cascade order off to the left-hand side?
