Thanks Rick G, that made me take another look at dnsstuff.

I entered "Office.Staff@gp-L81071.nhs.uk" into DNSreport/Mail Test which gave me "212.137.44.179 [EU]" followed by "Trying to connect to all mailservers:

mail.nhs.uk. - 212.137.44.179 [Could not connect: Got an unknown RCPT TO response: 451 <Office.Staff@gp-L81071.nhs.uk>... dnsstuff was the first thing I tried, but entering the domain part of the e-maill address, "gp-L81071.nhs.uk", just results in an error.
Get their domain name and look it up at
<noindex>http://www.dnsstuff.com/</noindex>
one of many places that you can find it out. If it happens to be anonymous there will be an email address that will go through the anonymous registration site
Thanks for your reply Roelof.

The contact in question is my Doctor's surgery, and unfortunately the staff there have no idea how to advise me; they can't or won't tell me who their ISP is or who their system admistrator is.

Regarding "Uncheck 'Use X-Mailer header in messages', this is already unchecked and has been as long as I remember; could this all-of-a-sudden be the problem for some reason?
It is possible that your contact's ISP is blocking messages sent by TB.
The best way to check whether this is the case is to disable TB's X-Mailer header, you can do this via:
Options -> Preferences -> General -> Uncheck 'Use X-Mailer header in messages (for administrative purposes)'

Suddenly, one recipient not receiving my e-mails in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
For years I have used TB as my preferred client.

Recently, one particular recipient I regularly send e-mails to has stopped receiving them. I no longer receive a delivery receipt, no error messages get generated and when phoning the recipient, they confirm that no email has been received from me.

I had read somewhere, a long while back, that some ISP's mail servers block e-mail from TB users. As there is no problem sending mail to this recipient using my ISP's webmail client, could it be that they've started blocking e-mail from TB?

Thanks for any advice.
