PC-cililin found a virus in a message you were downloading (hence the infected batxxxx.tmp file in your temp folder) As PC-cillin blocked access to the infected file TB thinks the connection with the server is broken and drops its side of the connection, the infected message won't be deleted from the server and next time the same will happen as soon as TB starts downloading the infected message.
To fix this you should either access your mail server via webmail and delete the infected message or do so via the mail dispatcher in TB:
account -> dispatch mail on server -> all
There is no virus infection because Trend has prevented TB from fully downloading the infected message. The tmp files are "Work in progress". Until they are fully downloaded, messages are left on the server and are downloaded next mail fetch.

Disable Trend completely and use clamwin and the plugin to allow TB to download the infected message and to deal with it in a more effective manner than a complete block and removal before processing is complete.
I am using TrendMicro PC-cillin for anti-virus. About a week ago it started popping up with messages that it found a Worm_Mytob.ed virus in the batxxx.tmp file. The numbers keep changing each time it pops up.

I tried to delete all my messages from the week before and after I started getting those messages but I can't stop the messages from appearing.

I even installed another anti-virus program, ClamWin Free Anti-Virus program because it had a plugin for TheBat! which I installed too. I scanned the whole computer but it couldn't find the suspect email and I don't think it even scanned my emails at all.

Does anyone have any ideas on getting rid of the virus email?
