nice, I was not aware of this as I never used hotkey triggered filters. Then this a very handy method to quckly sort a message, better than drag & drop.
A hotkey activated filter will only filter the selected message(s). I've never tried it with more than one selected message at the same time though.
Roelof, wouldn't this cause all the messages in the inbox to be filtered? Or you can somehow set a hotkey activated filter to check only the selected message(s)?
Create a filter (not a macro) to move messages to your preferred folder, set the filter options to active and 'execute actions of this filter by pressing hotkey' with the sub-option 'this rule is executed only by pressing the hotkey' and of course you've got to set your preferred hotkey.
not sure but I don't think this is possible.
You can assign a shortcut to invoke the 'Move to folder' dialog(btw there is already, CTRL+V) but can't see how to predefine the target folder.
Hi, I like the keyboard shortcut 'J' to automatically Junk the selected message.

Id love to be able to assign another key which would move a message to one of my created folders. Is this possible in any way?

Ie, 'P' moves to Postpone folder, 'D' moves to Dealt with etc

Thanks
