TB uses about 50 MB here too, but I've got 130.000 messages, the amount of messages in your folders doesn't really matter to TB, the size of the open mail does matter, but not that much. I don't know whether there is any memory leak present. I thought most of those bugs were solved.

Hello,

I use The Bat since many years but become very heavy.
More than 50Mo . ....
and I have (only) 360 emails on this.

1/ Corsair memory is expensive
2/ most often the soft is heavy, most often the crash is possible

How can I reduce the memory needed by The Bat ?
I don't use the Biometric, I don't use many functions but some of them.

Why use the Deplhi and not a lighter language like C++ ?
