I have WinXP and WinVista and on both, TB is starting very fast.

Are You starting them manually after system started or automatically?

Same problem for me, 15 minutes slow before I can open the Bat. Vista is Ultimate version, updated before SP1.

I have no Problems like this. Under Vista TB! is faster then under XP...

It's a Vista Ultimate.

is this the only app that behaves this way?

try to start it without a splash, use the /NOLOGO parameter. Defragment the drive TB is / mail folder is.
Mail folder on a network drive?

Try also to exclude from real time virus protection TB folder / mail folder. Disable plugins.

Hi,

since I use my new Vista (Home Premium) OS starting the bat takes a very long time. I see the splash screen about 10 or 15 minutes before I can download the first mails.

My bat version is 3.956/1.244

I would very appreciate if someone could give me a hint to solve this problem.
