Some new things.

When i check leave a copy on server on

TheBat 2.12.04

Receiving mail from server (read it from Maildir/new)
and then that message is placed on Maildir/cur on server. I have a copy on my computer, all seems to be ok.

The Bat 3.95.06

Do not receive mail from server. After connecting
mail is placed on Maildir/cur. Mail is leaved on
server but not fetched to local computer. When
I want to fetch all mails from server i need to use
mail dispositor.

Thank you for your response.

I don't have any of filters setup.
When i check in options "leave messages on server"
then TheBat retrieve mail. From server side it looks
also ok. The Bat read mails from Maildir/new and
then mail is moved to Maildir/cur.

The Problem is that TheBat can't retrieve all messages
from server. Only new. When message is placed on
Maildir/cur it ignore it. Other clients can retrieve
all messages.  From cur/ and new/ folders.


Hmm some one has the same problem with TheBat

check your selective download filters, if any. Also incoming mail filters, if some of them has an action 'Delete message from server'.

BTW after posting your server, username and password to a public forum, it's a good idea to change the password

My TheBat (currelntly latest version)
sometimes don't retrieve mail from server
but only delete it. My pop3 log looks
like this:

[14:34:23] S: +OK POP3
[14:34:23] S: 1 1696
[14:34:23] S: .
[14:34:23] C: UIDL
[14:34:23] S: +OK
[14:34:23] S: 1 UID37-1170350570
[14:34:23] S: .
[14:34:23] C: DELE 1
[14:34:23] S: +OK Deleted.
[14:34:23] C: QUIT
[14:34:23] S: +OK Bye-bye.

I have tested dwo pop3d servers Courier and
Solid pop3d. I manually copy tested e-mail
to Maildir/new folder on server and The Bat
don't retrieve it but only delete. Other clients
retrieve it fine.  I have tested it with
older version of TheBat 3.x. There was the
same problem.

When I use mail dispositor to retrieve mail
from server it show me message but option
get is not checked. When i manually check
this option message retrieves.
