Server Time-out does not work

Server Time-out does not work in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
I called Ritlabs in Moldova, and Alexander says he'll "look into it." What amazes me is that he seemed to be totally unaware of the problem.

You don't have to shutdown The Bat! though. You can simply delete the task in Connection Centre. Yesterday I had a hangup going-on for over four hours! Obviously this problem is NOT confined to Windows Vista, either.
They don't help us. They let the ticket close-out without comment because they know The Bat! is batty.
Further info regarding this situation, as first reported on March 12th (to which there have not been any solutions provided).

All my accounts are set to a Server Timeout of 60 seconds, most of my accounts are set to check EMail every 5 minutes.

On a regular basis, TheBat! hangs, and must be shut down and restarted.

Taking a clue from another topic, I turned on 'Protocol Logging'; below are some excerpts from the POP.log file of my most active EMail account. Some info has been obfuscated in the interests of security.

~~~
[11:16:44] S: .
[11:16:44] C: QUIT
[11:16:46] S: +OK
[11:21:23] C: Connected to mail.wyomerc.com, port 110
[11:56:44] C: Connected to mail.wyomerc.com, port 110
[11:56:45] S: +OK <25222.1175011005@mail**.*****.com>
[11:56:45] C: USER jarnersr@wyomerc.com
[11:56:47] S: +OK
~~~

[16:17:02] S: .
[16:17:02] C: QUIT
[16:17:04] S: +OK
[16:21:47] C: Connected to mail.wyomerc.com, port 110
[16:41:30] C: Connected to mail.wyomerc.com, port 110
[16:41:31] S: +OK <28886.1175028091@mail**.*****.com>
[16:41:31] C: USER jarnersr@wyomerc.com
[16:41:32] S: +OK
[16:41:32] C: PASS ********
[16:41:36] S: +OK
[16:41:36] C: STAT

~~~
[16:42:00] S: .
[16:42:00] C: QUIT
[16:42:02] S: +OK
[16:46:34] C: Connected to mail.wyomerc.com, port 110
[16:46:36] S: +OK <30616.1175028395@mail**.*****.com>
[16:46:36] C: USER jarnersr@wyomerc.com
[16:46:37] S: +OK
[16:46:37] C: PASS ********
[16:46:39] S: +OK
[16:46:39] C: STAT
[17:24:06] S: !!!
