I am having the same problem. So are many in the beta group but not all.
I tried your fix but it didn't work for me although the message disappeared under firefox

Help anyone?

I was able to correct this problem (by toggling my default browser to IE and then back to Firefox - that fixed it).

When I click on URL links in my emails, I get "The system cannot find the file specified" error - every time.

This problem is new for me (been using TheBat for many years). Not sure when or why it started. I can no longer double-click to open URL's, I must now cut and paste them into my Firefox browser (also used for years).
