That has got nothing to do with The Bat!, it's because you're sending it with MS Outlook. That uses a proprietary format to send attachments. To other clients it appears a winmail.dat file.

You can convert/open it with fentun: http://www.fentun.com/

If I'm not mistaken, you download the program and drag and drop any winmail.dat files on it.

Since you're sending the stuff yourself, you could change something in your Outlook setup, but as I don't don't use MS Outlook, I don't know what there is to change.

hello everybody, i´m new and have a poor inglish i'll try my best expresion:)
well when i send from my office a mail to home my batv3 picks the attached excel doc as a dat document and i really doen't know how to fix it.
can anybody kindly how i musto do it.
