TB saves message IDs to local file Account.m_r to prevent downloading message again, if has user set to not delete messages on server.

Do not know, but maybe there could be a problem with saving this file...

I have the Bat 3.99.3.0 on W2K on a 2G Intel PC

I regularly download new mail from a Yahoo account, where the mail is in the "leave on the server" option. This to prevent crashes and to be able to use from abroad if on vacation etc.

I realize that the Bat downloads from time to time enormous quantities of mail which had been already downloaded (e.g. 400 MB at once with thousands of messages) and it does not only select new mail.

This behavior creates extremely huge folders with numerous duplicates and messages, which I had already removed from my computer, or at least removed from The Bat archives.

First the Bat was almost unable to handle this with the maintenance tool (and I had to increase performance with the "Task Manager" and do shut down all other programs.

Now I should have deleted (purged and compressed) all unwanted messages (maintainance says that) but Bat still hangs and I can not use it, almost impossible to start and slows down or makes to hang the whole system (very annoying to recover, it's not a blue screen crash or so), I need to kill The Bat, than I can reuse the other programs.

I am a long time user and I think that I have overwritten The Bat since 1.x versions all the time.
