maybe You hit Shift+Ctrl+E, go to menu "View | Message Auto-view"

Out of nothing the preview pane for messages disappeared and I cannot figure out how to get it back (cannot find any option in "view". I can see just the long list of messages but not the usual preview window (for the selected message). Can you please advise how to get it back ?
