Restore only one folder?

I ended up being able to restore the two message files for that folder from the previous night's backup (my backup program was giving me a hard time - it didn't want to restore but I eventually found a way around it.) So it was just a matter of copying the files in there. Bottom line, I ended up not having to restore from the automatic backup.

Thanks for the tip regarding NAV, I'll definitely give that a try!

thanks,
Michel
I think it will ask what to restore, but don't know if you can select individual folders and deselect others.
Anyway, close TB, make a copy of the whole mail folder, and then proceed with the restore. If something goes wrong, delete the mail folder and put back the copy made before the restore.

The most simple way to make a backup is to just archive the whole mail folder.

BTW I had the same problem with NAV a while ago, and then configured it not to scan emails and added the mail folder to the exclusions list. Now I scan potentially unsafe attachments manually after detaching them.

Hi,

Norton Antivirus just wiped out the Inbox folder of one of my accounts (from what I can see, everything else in that account and the other accounts is fine.)

I have an automatic backup from 24 hours ago. Is it possible to tell The Bat! to only restore the Inbox folder in one account, or will it overwrite everything that's new since that automatic backup. Let's just say I'm a little too jumpy to proceed with the next click right now - I don't know if a selection tree will show up or if it'll just restore.

thanks,
Michel
