Hi,

I tried Low Spark's method.

But I guess I'm not clear on his statement "Reinstall the bat and it should initialize to the new computer".

What exactly do I do to "reinstall"?

I double-clicked thebat.exe and followed the install wizard, but now it appears I'm running an Evaluation version that expires in 30 days.

How do I install correctly or change this to my purchased version?

Thanks.
the mail folder is the folder where theBat keeps all the data - account settings, messages, filters etc.
You can see where the mail folder is by clicking
Options -> Prefernces -> System ---> see 'Mail Directory'. From there you can change the location as well.
What I suggested was to check where this folder is on your new PC, then delete everything inside. Then check where it is on the old PC, and copy everything from there to the mail folder on the new PC.

Low Spark suggestion will work too, in case your mail folder is under theBat's installation folder, which is its default location -
C:\program files\the bat!\mail\
(or probably was the default location, as in Vista writing to \Program Files is quite troublesome)
Alternative method:

Copy the bat directory and all the subdirectories to the new computer. You'll find it in the Program Files directory and copy it to the same directory. Therefore your new email directories will be the same as they were on the old computer and in the same place.

C:\program files\the bat!\...

Once you have everything copied over. Reinstall the bat and it should initialize to the new computer and all of your old email data/configuration.
Thanks for your reply, but could you clarify,
delete what mail folder? What do you mean by "put at the same place the mail folder from the old PC".

thanks
