Having created a view, you must assign that view to each required folder in the folder properties section otherwise all folders retain a connection to the Generic view mode.

View modes/ column settings not working Can't set different columns in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
Bat 3.01

I do not seem to be able to make view modes work. However I try to set the columns for a particular folder/set of folders -- be it as a folder-specific setting, or through the mode view manager -- the new setting is automatically copied to everything else.

Supposing I want a "generic" view including a column for "size", and "virtual" view (for virtual folders) including a column for the original "folder" instead (and may be still a third and a fourth one) -- whichever view I define last, it overlaps the previous one(s), so that I end up with a bunch of exactly identical views, in spite of different names.

Pls advise. Thx, Remo
