Is there a Server Version of TheBat! in forum The Bat! - Configuring the E-mail Client.
There are no differences where a mail client works, on ths server Windows like Windows 2003 or on client windows like Windows XP.

Just ask your system adminmistrator to help you configure the authentication settings (mostly username and password) in The Bat!

You can go to Account Properties/Transport/Send Mail/Authentication and turn on the "Perform SMTP Authentication" checkbox.

If your system administrator is unwilling really help, than changing the e-mail program would not help after all.
Is there a Server Version of TheBat! ?

Because I've loaded theBat! onto a Windows 2003 server and tried any combinations to enable Authentication, but still get this message when i try to email out from theBat!:

"Message has not been sent. Server reply - This mail server requires the authentication when attempting to send a non-local email address. Please check your mail client settings or contact your administrator to verify that the domain or addrsss is defined for this server".

Talked to the administrator who said simply enable the Mail client.
